We’re delighted to be bringing our very first comedy night to S BOMB, and we’re kicking things off with a headline act who is anything but ordinary.

Expect a night of clever, unpredictable, laugh-out-loud stand-up from some fantastic comedians, including your headliner for the evening – Ed Tripp.

Award-winning Northern Irish comedian and former Bard of Exeter, Ed delivers a brilliantly surreal mix of stand-up, storytelling, and poetry — though not quite as you might expect. Think sharp wit, prop-heavy chaos, dark humour, bad language, and the kind of clever, sideways thinking that keeps audiences howling from start to finish.

From defrosted wives to questionable family members (including Uncle Connor… who definitely isn’t in the IRA), Ed’s unique style has earned him a reputation as one of the most original and unpredictable acts around. If you love spoken-word poetry, you’ll enjoy it. If you think you hate spoken-word poetry… you’ll probably enjoy it even more.

Add two excellent support acts, a great crowd, and the brilliant atmosphere at S BOMB, and you’ve got all the ingredients for a cracking night out.
